What is Reiki?
Reiki, pronounced Rey-Key, is a Japanese word meaning Universal (Rei) Life Energy (Ki). In simple terms, Reiki is a gentle hands-on healing system that harnesses the natural energy that surrounds us and flows through every living thing.
The practice of Reiki is an original method of healing, developed by Mikao Usui in Japan early in the 20th century.
What makes it special is that it's activated by intention and can work on every level of your being – mental, emotional, and spiritual, not just the physical. Reiki is completely non-invasive.
You remain fully clothed throughout the treatment, and the therapy's purpose is to treat you holistically and restore your natural balance. It can be performed both "hands on" and "hands off" the recipient.

What Does a Reiki Treatment Feel Like?
The beauty of Reiki lies in its gentle nature.

Many clients experience tingling sensations or gentle warmth, or even coolness, while others find they have emotional responses – perhaps the feeling that old blockages are being gently removed, allowing emotional balance to return naturally.
Every person's experience is unique, and even your own sessions may vary each time you visit. What remains constant is the sense of peace and restoration that follows.
